2024 DHub's programme

The Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHub) will be, from 2024, the reference facility of the new Creative Industries's location of the Institute of Culture of Barcelona, a position that will consolidate it as a hub of design, fashion, architecture, audiovisual, technology, video games and innovation. With this objective in mind, the DHub has designed a programme for this year that includes, among other activities, 14 temporary and 6 permanent exhibitions, 19 festivals and more than twenty talks and conferences.

The DHub's new exhibition proposal explores the new frontiers of design and the great challenges of humanity with an ambitious programme of exhibitions of its own production such as "Patterns and Recognitions, a three-part composition by United Visual Artists", "Ex-Designer Bar", "The Ocean speaks. New ecologies and new economies of the seas", "Contra el disseny", "Vinçon & Ikea" or "Matter Matters".

Throughout this year, the DHub will also host festivals such as OFFF, Llum BCN, FLIC, Brut! or Fixing the Future, days of thought such as the DHub Marathon and conference programmes such as the ADG Talks and the Elisava Master's Talks. It will also continue to host Barcelona Design Week and Audiovisual Talent Week.

In the year of its 10th anniversary, the DHub opens to the new Parc de les Glòries, with a shop, an annex building with laboratory essence - the Cub - which will host residencies for creators and research projects, new activity spaces, a new strategy for permanent exhibitions and a metro exit inside the building.
